Boanerges Baptist Church Teaching & Discipleship

We at Boanerges have a passion and hunger for the truth that can only be found in the Word of God. It is the pursuit of that truth that underpins every effort we make in our teaching and training. Beginning with the foundational doctrines of salvation found in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, through our individual callings as believers to take up our cross and follow Him, we understand that God sent His Son to save us for a purpose: to give us life and to carry the light of His truth into this darkening world. With that as our guiding principle, every part of our teaching and training is meant to prepare us to answer our personal calling from our Lord. Together, through study and fellowship, iron sharpening iron, we learn that obedient faith will always produce the desires of God’s heart and allow us to experience God in action. This is our purpose.

Sunday Classes

I’m extremely happy to be associated with a group of dedicated leaders who have donned the mantle on the front lines, teaching and modeling the life of Christ. From Nursery to the Senior Adult class, these leaders commit themselves not only to presenting the truth but also to prayer, hours of study, and in some cases agonizing burdens, in order to reach what sometimes seems the unreachable. They ministry as God intended, in a labor driven by love. I salute and pray for each of these incredible people continually. Their rewards will be great.

We are not satisfied with stagnation or empathy, as we move forward we’re trusting that God will show us how to become extremely efficient at accomplishing His will, both to win souls then to disciple them. We will continue to be a work in progress. We are following His leadership and trusting Him to change our lives for His purposes. We encourage our instructors to take the opportunity to grow in their giftedness and seek spiritual renewal when they need scriptural nourishment and fellowship. Our focus will always be to provide well balanced Spiritual / Christian education to individuals and families. This is the way to our victory!! Our doors will always be opened to those who need a Relationship with Christ and need to realize the power of walking with Him in faith!! Wednesday night youth program

Word of Life

Wednesday nights from 6:30 -8:00 p.m. Meals are served evert Wednesday! If you need a ride, please contact our Bus Ministry team who will be happy to pick you up and take you back home. Word of Life’s mission is to evangelize and disciple youth.

Our goal is to strengthen the church of Jesus Christ by reaching young people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. WE hope to accomplish this through Bible centered, youth focused, Gospel driven activities and teaching.
