Welcome!​

Whether you are brand new to the church thing or you’ve been around church for a while; we want to say welcome! Our goal at Boanerges is to create environments and experiences where you can encounter God in the midst of your life. When you come to Boanerges Baptist on a weekend, our aim is that you would be inspired by the music, encouraged by the message, welcomed by our amazing community of people & be reminded that God’s grace is here!

Boanerges Church has a long history of being a community of people who love God, love their city and desire to be a church that is relevant with an outward focus where all are welcomed. Our Mission
Our mission is to effectively reach out to the unsaved, cultivate spiritual growth and to be a place of refuge, consistent with God's principles of love and compassion, to fulfill the Great Commission and bring honor to our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
Vision
“Christ Is King” By utilizing the Spiritual Gifts of the Lord, we want to live out being a Romans 12 Community of Believers. We want to serve others by offering ourselves as a living sacrifice, keeping our minds fastened on our foundation of faith in Christ. Yet, at the same time presenting ourselves Holy and Acceptable unto God.

Core Values

  1. Love Others: We realize the Greatest Command that Jesus shared in Matthew 22:37-40. It is essential to Love God with all our Heart and neighbor as ourselves.

  2. Honor Christ: The Gospel of John compels us to be Salt & Light in the world we are living in. God has created each of us with an innate desire for deep, meaningful fellowship with him. We honor Christ by allowing he is characteristics shine through in our life.

  3. Provide Spiritual Growth: Our Church Understands the responsibility to educate the theology of its members adults as well as children. We desire to create an environment where the average person sitting in the pews can learn Fundamental Biblical principles and apply them to their life. Ps 119:33 “Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statues; and I shall keep it unto the end.”
